NEW HEALTH INSURANCE OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN WASHINGTON

• Through a partnership between UnitedHealthcare and Affiliated Associations of America, businesses with two to 100 employees have access to a host of health benefit plans

SEATTLE (April 17, 2008) – Washington-based small businesses with two to 100 employees now have access to a host of commercial health benefit options through a partnership between UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) company, and Affiliated Associations of America (AAOA). Beginning May 1, 2008, AAOA will offer a range of options from UnitedHealthcare’s product portfolio. AAOA members, depending on their needs, will have the ability to choose from 16 different plan designs, including PPOs and consumer-driven health plans such as health savings accounts (HSAs) and health reimbursement accounts (HRAs).
