The Affiliated Associations of America (AAOA) is committed to building stronger organizations by supporting and recognizing membership and enhancing the value it represents.

AAOA membership is only offered to bonafide member organizations, Associations, and Chambers of Commerce. We do not offer individual or separate memberships to companies or individuals.

When an organization becomes a member, AAOA grants a reciprocated membership to all of the members of that Association, Chamber of Commerce, or Professional Organization. One membership for an organization will provide access to all of the AAOA benefits and services for all of their members at no additional cost and no additional membership fees. This reciprocated membership also extends to the employees of an organization’s members. Members of an organization that join AAOA are able to provide their employees access to the exclusive travel discounts and services of AAOA at no additional cost.

Personal Identification Numbers (PIN’s)

AAOA will provide Personal Identification Numbers (PIN’s) for each member of an organization. PIN numbers allow members to access the exclusive discount codes and view online reservation and order links. Member organizations are provided with an online membership tool to add and delete members through the AAOA web site. New members will be provided PIN numbers as they join and members that do not maintain their membership in good standing will have their numbers deactivated.

Membership Dues

AAOA Membership dues are paid annually based upon the organization's initial date of membership. Locate the organization type in the table below to determine the cost of Membership for your organization. Annual dues do not change based upon the size of the Chamber of Commerce or Association.

Membership Development Grant Program

The AAOA Membership Development Grant Program is available for those organizations that want to grow their membership and promote the benefits and services of AAOA to their members. Members that meet the below qualifications are eligible to receive a grant of up to $300 per year to put toward the AAOA membership dues.

To qualify for a Membership Development Grant the following criteria must be met:

• Submit a marketing outline of the organization’s annual member benefit promotion
• Mail AAOA benefit information to members a minimum of three times per year
• Promote AAOA benefit programs in member communications or newsletters regularly
• Provide promotional opportunities to AAOA at member’s events and activities
• Provide AAOA speaker opportunities at member events
• Exclusively endorse AAOA benefits and services that are offered.
• Provide and maintain an active web site link from the member’s web site to AAOA
• Maintain the member’s active membership list through the AAOA online system

The AAOA Membership Development Grant Program is another commitment we make to our organization members to assist in building membership.
