Affiliated Associations of America (AAOA) released its September 2012 Wellness Newsletter. This latest edition of AAOA's monthly Wellness Newsletter covers stress, high blood pressure, and a healthy recipe for chocolate pudding.

AAOA Healthcare will team up as a sponsor with the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and the Bellevue Chamber Foundation for the first annual Spirit of Bellevue 12K and 5K . Proceeds from this event will go towards local college-bound students. The event will be held on Sunday, August 12 at 7:45 a.m.“AAOA is dedicated to giving back to its community and is an advocate for higher education. We are proud to aid in providing scholarships for students to attend college,” said Patrick Chestnut, AAOA president and CEO.The event offers a scenic 12K (7.46 miles) for runners and a family friendly 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk. Both courses start and finish at the Bellevue Downtown Park. The event will also include a health and fitness fair where local companies will share what they have to offer for living a healthy lifestyle.
